Sheriff Joe Arpaio served as Maricopa County Sheriff for 23 years…the longest serving Sheriff in Arizona history. Sheriff Joe is known for his strong stand on illegal immigration, instituting the cost saving “Tent City Jail”, and pink underwear for inmates. On this podcast Sheriff Joe speaks candidly about his time with the DEA in numerous foreign countries as he fought the drug war. Many do not know that Sheriff Joe’s law enforcement career started as a police officer in Washington DC where he walked the beat in the toughest areas of DC. Now after a 4 year break from office, Joe is now running for Maricopa County Sheriff again and describes himself as the “people’s candidate”. With over 55 years of law enforcement experience Joe is obviously up to the challenge.
